2026 will be our 14th year hosting this incredible family-friendly event that supports the Parks Alliance of Louisville and Louisville's public parks.
Jack's Lantern Trail: October 1-November 1, 2026

Treat yourself to this unique, family-friendly experience in the magical woods of Iroquois Park.

We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance as we do expect sold-out nights, particularly on the weekends. The trail opens at dusk (6:50p-7:30p) each night.

Know Before You Go
  • ​We operate with timed ticketing. When purchasing your ticket, please select the date and time you wish to attend. 
  • Guests enter the Iroquois Amphitheater in 1-hour time slots to begin their journey to the head of the pumpkin trail.

  • Guests entering the Amphitheater during the first available time slot will be allowed to access the trail at dusk, which can range from 6:50p-7:30p, depending on weather and seasonal daylight hours.

  • On Sunday through Thursday, the final time slot for entry is 9:30p, and on Friday and Saturday, the final time slot for entry is 10:30p. You must be inside the Amphitheater gates by 10:00p Sun - Thurs and 11:00p on Fri - Sat.​

 

Tickets can be bought at the Iroquois Amphitheater (in advance, or night of — depending on inventory and availability) to avoid online service fees.

Guests can save money and have an incredible experience together! ​Group ticketing is only available Sunday–Thursday nights. Ticket supply is limited and popular nights sell out quickly. Order ahead to lock in your date!​​

  • Bus Tour Groups - $18+ tax

  • VIP Group Ticket Price (min. 20) - $18+ tax (Avoid the lines with an escort to the head of the trail)​

Get-to-the-glow Fast Pass: Fridays + Saturdays

New in 2026: Get your glow pass and skip the line! For just $55 (per person), you'll enjoy priority entry so you can spend less time waiting and more time exploring Jack's Lantern Trail. Only available on Fridays and Saturdays. Limited quantities available.
