What is timed ticketing?The time on your ticket is the start of the 1-hour time slot during which you will enter the Amphitheater. Guests can choose from several 1-hour time slots to view the show, except for the final time slot each day. The final slot on Sunday through Thursday enters the Amphitheater between 9:30 and 10:00 (when the gate closes), and the final slot on Friday and Saturday enters between 10:30 and 11:00 (when the gate closes). It is recommended you purchase your tickets in advance as time slots will sell out. Sunday through Thursday Timed ticket entry: 6:30p, 7:30p, 8:30p, and 9:30p Friday and Saturday Timed ticket entry: 6:30p, 7:30p, 8:30p, 9:30p, and 10:30p PLEASE NOTE: We generally hold the 6:30 p.m. line until it gets dark enough to enjoy the pumpkins to their full extent.

When does the trail open for the night?The trail opens when it is dark enough for maximum enjoyment, which ranges from 6:50 pm - 7:30 pm depending on weather and daylight hours as the month progresses. This ensures the pumpkins look their best!

What is the final entry time?Sunday - Thursday: The amphitheater gate closes at 10:00. Any guests already inside the amphitheater at that time will be allowed through the event. Friday and Saturday: The amphitheater gate closes at 11:00. Any guests already inside the amphitheater at that time will be allowed through the event.

What if I'm running late?No problem! You can enter during a later time slot. We do not allow early entry to the trail, but you can enter during a later time slot. Please join the line for the next available time slot based on your arrival time.

Can I purchase tickets on site?Yes, tickets can be purchased at the Iroquois Amphitheater box office in advance or night of (depending on availability). We do recommend buying tickets in advance as we do expect sold out nights, particularly on weekends. Where should I park?Parking is available, free of charge, on-site at the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular: 1080 Amphitheater Rd Louisville, KY 40214 If you prefer to stay out of parking traffic at the event, additional free parking is available at Desales High School and is a short 5-minute walk to the event: 425 W Kenwood Dr Louisville, KY 40214 Parking is available in the Amphitheater parking lots, small field, big field, and Rundill road. What is the estimated walking distance?From the Amphitheater entrance to the trail entrance is a 1/3 of a mile. The trail is an additional 1/3 of a mile, which you can enjoy at your own pace. On average, the trail itself takes 35-45 minutes to complete.

What form of payments are accepted?The Amphitheater Box Office: Cash or Debit/Credit Cards Online: Debit/Credit Cards Service fees and taxes are not included in ticket prices. Service fees only apply to online ticket purchases.

If I come with a timed ticket, will I still wait in line?Yes, the time on your ticket is when your line begins to enter the Amphitheater. Please expect an additional 30-45 minutes to reach the trail entrance.

Do you offer any group discounts?Guests can save $3/person when they order at least 20 paid tickets in a single order any Sunday-Thursday. Ready to book? Complete this form.

Do you offer refunds?We do not offer refunds unless the event is closed due to hazardous weather conditions. Refund requests for event nights that are canceled are not permitted after the last night of the show, October 31, 2024.

Can tickets be rescheduled for another date or time?Yes, tickets can easily be rescheduled for another date or time of the event. Please bring your original, unused tickets to the Iroquois Amphitheater box office on the desired date of your visit and our attendants will get you taken care of.

What happens if it rains or in the event of severe weather?The show goes on, rain or shine. However, in the event of dangerous weather conditions that force the show to be delayed or postponed, your tickets for that particular night will be honored on any other comparable day.

What accommodations are made for those using wheelchairs or scooters?Those needing wheelchair assistance will find parking near the Amphitheater Box Office, with a valid parking permit. Drop-off will also be available near the entrance. The entrance to the Amphitheater has a wheelchair ramp located behind the box office. Please note: From the Amphitheater entrance to the trail entrance is a 1/3 of a mile and there are a couple of steep slopes on the trail, which is an additional 1/3 mile long. While all are welcome, and we do our best to accommodate, it's ultimately up to the customer and their comfort level. The trail is compacted with crushed limestone, which allows for easier mobility. We have guests who utilize wheelchairs and bring strollers each year without issue.

What if I come hungry or thirsty?There are concessions inside the amphitheater, including two bars, where you will find plenty of options to eat and drink. All guests must enter into the amphitheater to enter the trail so you will be able to access all concessions while you wait.

Who carves the pumpkins?Passion for Pumpkins from Oxford, MA, produces Jack O’Lantern Spectacular and carves the more than 5,000 illuminated pumpkins you see on the trail. Passion for Pumpkins is a professional multi-media company that produces shows in Providence, RI and Minneapolis, MN.

How long do the pumpkins last?The pumpkin carvers keep carving and enhancing the displays throughout the show. They replace the pumpkins every 3 – 6 days, depending on weather conditions.

Can I take photos and/or videos of the Spectacular?Yes, you may take pictures as long as you do not impede the view or the flow of traffic on the trail. We do not allow flash photography.
